Matt’s key role with the Trust, Gratitude and Love team is artist representation. After several years assisting the development of the TGL platform. Matt is motivated to bring Ward’s unique wisdom; skill set and experience out into the performance world. Matt believes that TGL’s holistic, interactive mixture of storytelling/presentation, music, team building, and personal growth is an experience we can all benefit from.

A Bay Area native, Matt has more than twenty years’ experience in the music business, including extensive artist representation and promotional work with some of the Bay Area’s finest musicians (including two Grammy nominees). Over the years, as an artist rep, Matt has booked more than a dozen bands into the Monterey Jazz Festival.

In addition to artist rep work with musicians he has also worked on the venue side and has years of experience working with the San Jose Jazz community. In 2012 he raised funds and established the Silicon Valley Stage for the San Jose Jazz SummerFest while also curating the stage from 2012-2022. Along with his many activities, Matt is currently an Artist Liaison with Stanford Live.
